My Teaching Journey

After settling into life in Costa Rica, I realized that there was a demand for expats and others to learn Spanish in a smaller and safer environment. Although there were other schools and immersion learning opportunities available, some people found them to be too large and impersonal. They wanted a more intimate and personalized experience where they could develop their language skills and form connections. That’s why I started teaching Spanish at my kitchen table in Tamarindo in 2017.

Since then, we have experienced significant growth and continue to expand our offerings to cater to the needs of all language learners.  As I got settled into life in Costa Rica, I realized there was a need for expats and others to learn Spanish in a small and safe environment. Although there were other schools, and immersion learning opportunities available, for some large just didn’t work. Some wanted a more intimate and personal experience where they could build their language skills and form connections, so that’s when I began at my kitchen table in Tamarindo in 2017.

Over the years we have grown immensely, and we continue to expand our offerings to meet the needs of ALL language learners.

When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It is to enjoy each step along the way!
